In a proud moment for Tamenglong College, two of the students won the Tamenglong Christmas Marathon and one of our senior staff also completed the race for the 40+ category. The marathon was organised on 16 December 2023.
OUR PROUD ACHIEVERS WERE:
1. Mr. Namguabe Pame, 1st Position for the Men’s Under 40 category.
2. Miss Ramunjuanliu Kamei, 2nd Position for the Women’s Under 40 category.
3. Mr. Pouhiamlung Kamei, Assistant Librarian, Consolation Prize (Finisher’s Certificate) for the 40+ category for Men.
The marathon race covered a distance of about 10km from Jadonang Park in Tamenglong HQ to 5th MR, and back to Jadonang Park. There were Five participants from Tamenglong College including a staff in this first-ever Christmas Marathon in Tamenglong. Moreover, about 22 students including Ms. Machunlu Inka, Ms. Guisiamliu Panmei, Ms. Ramunjuanliu Kamei, Ms. Mercy Panmei, Ms. Lungjiliu Gangmei, Mr. Jabez, Ms. Sharon, Mr. Namgua, Mr. Nathanael, and others, took part as volunteers for the Programme.
The team of Tamenglong College was accompanied by Ms. Maliangjinliu Panmei, Assoc. Professor & HoD, Dept. of History, Tamenglong College.
