On 31 July 2024, two prominent community based-civil society organisations of Tamenglong, namely Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) and Rongmei Naga Students Organisation Manipur (RNSOM), visited the College and interacted with the teachers and students. Notably the two Rongmei Apex CSOs of Manipur have voluntarily constructed a temporary classroom considering the acute shortage of classrooms in the College while construction of a new building for eight classrooms under “College Fagathansi Mission” initiated by the Government of Manipur is going on. The interaction session was conducted in the newly constructed temporary classroom after it was officially handed over to the College Administration.

In the Interaction session, Shri Namsurei Thomas Kamei, Asst. Professor & HoD, Dept. of Economics & IQAC Coordinator, Shri David Jiangamlung Kamei, Asst. Professor, Dept. of English & IQAC Joint Coordinator, and Smt. Maliangjinliu Panmei, Associate Professor & HoD, Department of History, shared their thoughts on behalf of the College, and Shri Daichuipou Gangmei, President RNSOM, and Shri KC Savio Gangmei, President RNCM, spoke on the side of the CSOs.
