This is a news report of the One Day Workshop on Legal Awareness on the Three New Criminal Laws in Tamenglong Times dated 3 July 2024. The Legal Awareness Program was organised by IQAC Tamenglong College on 1 July 2024 at the Multipurpose Hall of the College.

The workshop began with an opening remark by Dr. Kinthuijinang Maremmei, Principal, and followed by deliberation on the new three laws Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, by Shri David J. kamei, Shri Daidatlung Kameih, and Shri Ringsinrei Gonmei as the Resource Persons. The whole proceeding was moderated by Ms. Pouhimdailiu KG and concluded with an act of gratitude by Mr. Namsurei Thomas Kamei, Coordinator IQAC, Tamenglong College. The workshop was attended by the staff and students of the College.
